QuantusHorizon acts as the data controller.
2. About the Service
DanskeGrundskoler.dk is a data-driven reference platform providing publicly available statistics on Danish primary schools. The service is intended for adults only.
No user accounts or user-generated content are supported.
3. Personal Data Processed
3.1 Data not collected
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or other contact details
- User profiles or login credentials
- Payment information
- User-submitted content
- Communication between users
3.2 Data collected automatically
When visiting the website, the following data may be processed:
- IP address
- Device and browser information
- Operating system
- Approximate location
- Usage and interaction data
This data is processed through cookies and similar technologies.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis
Data is processed for:

- Technical operation and security

The website is hosted by Netlify, which may process technical log information to deliver and secure the service.
5.3 Databases
The platform databases are hosted by Supabase (EU-based infrastructure). The database stores only statistical and publicly available school information, not user data.

Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, are only used after consent through a Cookieyes banner.
Users can change or withdraw consent at any time through cookie settings.
7. International Transfers
Personal data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA, including to the United States, in connection with Google Analytics and Netlify.
Transfers are based on:
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), where relevant
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a supplementary safeguard
8. Retention
- Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (up to 26 months)
- Technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for operation and security
- No personal data linked to user accounts is stored, as no such accounts exist.
9. Data Subject Rights
Under data protection law, data subjects have rights including:

- Rectification or erasure
- Restriction of processing
- Objection to processing
- Data portability, where relevant
